Adobe Acrobat (PDF) Documents

The software that is used to view and/or print PDF documents is available from Adobe®. There is no charge for this software. It is available for several types of computers and in different languages. Instructions for downloading this software is available on Adobe´s Web site. The software includes installation instructions.

To download and save PDF documents onto your mouse-equipped computer system, place the cursor on the document link (the pointer will change its shape) and press the mouse button appropriate for your computer.

Almost every browser will display a dialog box or menu with at least one option being "Save File", "Save Target", "Save to disk", "Save Link as" or some other option using "Save". Select the "Save"
option and specify where on your computer you want to save the file (i.e. to your desktop, in a separate folder, etc.).

Once successfully downloaded and saved to your computer, the PDF document(s) may be read at your leisure without an active internet connection.  

Compressed (ZIP) Documents

To download and save ZIP document archives onto your mouse-equipped computer system, place the cursor on the document link (the pointer will change its shape) and press the mouse button appropriate for your computer.

Almost every browser will display a dialog box or menu with at least one option being "Save File,”, "Save Target,” "Save to disk,” "Save Link as" or some other option using "Save.” Select the "Save" option and specify where on your computer you want to save the file (i.e. to your desktop, in a separate folder, etc.).

Note: Windows XP and Vista have a standard utility for unzipping files.

Once the file has been downloaded, double-click the zipped file. In the window that opens, click Extract all files to open the Extraction Wizard.

Click Next.  In the Select a Destination panel, select the location where you want the folder to be placed, for example, the desktop or in a separate file.

Click Next again and in the Extraction Complete panel, select Show Extracted Files.

Check Finish and the unzipped files will appear in a new window.
